More than thirty years ago, Christa Furrer asked the former mayor of Carouge whether she could use the name of his small Geneva suburb. He agreed, and since then the name Christa de Carouge has spread across Switzerland and throughout the world. We went to visit her. The result is a colourful portrait of the “dame noir.”
