With the help of the new black-and-white logo you designed I was
able to create a distinct counterpoint to the long tradition of colour favoured by our fashion house for many years. Famous people from all over the world used to come to Basel to have their clothes designed by my uncle Fred Spillmann (1915-1986), the city’s darling enfant terrible and Switzerland’s last great couturier. Still based at the same location, I today create Couture-à-porter, in other words, wearable Haute Couture.
